About Co-Founder and CEO

Maddison “Maddy” Molina, a passionate ocean conservation advocate, filmmaker, and philanthropist from Cape Coral, Florida, has dedicated herself to preserving the beauty of our seas. Her journey began over a decade ago, when a snorkeling trip with her family in the U.S. Virgin Islands sparked a deep love for the ocean. By middle school, Maddy was already a certified diver, referring to the ocean as her “happy place.” What started as a fascination soon blossomed into a powerful mission for conservation.

Her travels to coral reefs around the world, including the Galápagos Islands, opened her eyes to the urgent threats these ecosystems face. But instead of feeling helpless, Maddy became determined to make a difference. She has planted coral in Moorea, removed debris from Mauibeaches, and created inspiring educational films through her YouTube channel, encouraging others to join the fight for coral reef preservation.

Maddy’s efforts to save the world’s coral reefs earned her recognition from PADI as one of eleven women around the world cultivating hope. Her film Saving Florida's Coral was featured at the Florida Environmental Film Festival. Her tireless work was also honored with Cape Coral’s prestigious Community Recognition Award, proving that even young voices can create a lasting impact on global issues.

In 2024, Maddy co-founded the Coral of Life foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on motivating people to actively participate in protecting and preserving coral reef ecosystems. Through education, advocacy, community engagement initiatives, and funding conservation efforts, the foundation works to raise awareness about the urgent threats facing coral reefs. Maddy is committed to encouraging individuals to take meaningful steps toward mitigating these challenges and preserving the health of our oceans for generations to come.

Beyond her conservation work, Maddy finds joy and balance in singing and dancing, using these creative outlets to stay grounded and energized. Whether planting coral or performing, Maddy brings boundless enthusiasm, optimism, and a deep commitment to building a brighter, more sustainable future for our oceans and the planet. She is living proof that one person, driven by passion and purpose, can inspire change and lead the way toward a better tomorrow. Alongside her dedication to conservation, Maddy is also passionate about traveling responsibly and learning about different cultures, immersing herself in the world’s diversity while ensuring her travels leave a positive impact.
